Julie Striegel

Julie “Satita” Striegel owned her own pottery studio from 1999 – 2003. She recently began to make pottery again. While her focus is on hand thrown functional ware, she has begun to incorporate unique design elements with some of the pieces creating more one-of–a –kind work. Her pieces are influenced by nature and the world around her. Striegel is a graduate of Syracuse University and was a resident of Easton, MD for 39 years. She currently lives in Clearwater, Fl and is participating in the St. Petersburg Clay Company’s Artist in Residence Program. She also teaches and practices Kripalu Yoga and facilitates drum circles.
